Student Grace Lill in the Carnegie Hall Honors Choir

Grealish Voice Studio student GRACE LILL, has returned from New York City where she sang in the Carnegie Hall Honors Choir. The select choir is part of the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall.

Participation in the Honors Performance Series is through nomination and audition only. The unique opportunity is extended to talented high school singers identified throughout North America and select international schools. The Series is endorsed by both the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education.

The Performance Series challenges elite students to perform at their very best. Honors members rehearse and perform under master conductors. Ms. Lill performed under the direction of renowned conductors Dr. Eph Ehly, Jeffrey Grogan and Sharon Lavery.  Severals day of intense rehearsals preceded the Carnegie Hall performance on Sunday, Febraury 23, 2015. Singers also were heard by invited representatives from collegiate ad professional music programs.

In addition to choral work as part of the Honors package the Choir attended a Broadway show, visited the Big Apple’s most famous landmarks, and experienced other NYC cultural events.
